Another 8c+ for Josune Bereziartu

Another great success for basque climber Josune Bereziartu. May 16 she climbed the route Powerade 8c+ in Vadiello region of Sierra de Guara (Huesca, northern Spain).
The route is a power endurance test piece, it is 25 meter long and super steep. Originally the route is a link between Nowa 8c and Napalm Death 8b. To get to the route one has to climb almost all Nowa, and than turn to the right. The upper part is almost like a continuation of Nova, so actually it is the same intensity of movements.
- It´s a very steep route and not really in the style I enjoy, it is very reachy and physical. It is very overhanging, in some parts the holds are very far from each other. All the five climbers who did the route before me described it as 8c+, and for me it is a solid 8c+ as well - said Josune for www.Climbandmore.com.
Powerade was one of the most timetaking routes for Josune Bereziartu. She admitted that it was very difficult and for a long time she didn't feel in the right "league" do send it, but she tried just to train. In total it was about 15 days of practicing spread in one and a half year.
