Another 8c for Ola Taistra
In the last few months the elite group of “8c women” has been rapidly enlarging (at the moment there are probably 13 girls on the list). But still most of them have one 8c route to their credit. Yesterday, on April 5, Ola Taistra from Poland did her another 8c, leading Die Hard 8c in Gabbio (Ferentillo region, Italy). It’s already her third route of this grade, but first climbed outside Poland (she redpointed two 8c’s on Polish crag Pochylec: Power Play in 2004 and Nie Dla Psa Kie³basa in 2005).
Ferentillo is one of Ola’s favourite regions. In 2006 she climbed there Resistanza Atipica 8b RP and last March, during her “warming up” visit, she redpointed Totem 8a+.
