Rainer Eder Portfolio
Rainer Eder, b. 1964 in Lienz (Austria), living for 17 years in Zurich.. Rainer's career as a photographer began when he started taking pictures of his climbing buddies, very soon after he himself started climbing, at the age of 16. He has been worked as professional photographer for five years, specializing in taking pictures of climbers, freeskiers, mountainbikers and kajakers. Rainer has published numerous images worldwide, mainly in special-interest magazines, and works on a regular basis for well-known companies in the outdoor industry like Mammut, Black Diamond, and Lowa. His picture was prized the best Mountain Adventure photo of Banff Mountain Photography Competition 2003.
Equipement: "My favorite equipment is Nikon so I work with a few bodies (F5, F6, D2x ) and lenses from 14mm up to 400 mm Sometimes I work with an Hasselblad x-pan to. Materials I use are the Kodak VS or Fuji Velvia and Provia"
