The 14th OutDoor Trade Show climbs to record heights in 2007
OutDoor presents the latest trends in adventure and outdoor sports: on the new open-air course there will be demonstrations of “trail running” and “slacklining” – a new rope walking discipline. From Thursday through Sunday, 19-22 July, OutDoor 2007 will climb to record heights in Friedrichshafen. Over 700 exhibitors have confirmed their participation, already outstripping last year’s record of 675 exhibitors. The trade show also needs more space, and a new hall will be erected at the East Entrance.
This year the outdoor event stretches across a total of 72,000 sq m, including 11 trade show halls and an open-air section: “OutDoor is the leading trade show in Europe for all outdoor sporting activities. We are seeing significant growth at all levels and are delighted with this development,” says Messe Friedrichshafen CEO Klaus Wellmann. This year's industry meeting in Friedrichshafen is set to be bigger than ever. International participation has reached record levels of nearly 80 percent, reflecting the importance of OutDoor as the leading trade show in the outdoor sector. Over 700 exhibitors from 40 countries will contribute to this spectacular outdoor event. Around 100 of the top industry brands are presenting themselves almost exclusively in Friedrichshafen. The early date and strong industry participation have motivated manufacturers to make their presentations in Friedrichshafen a top priority. All the latest trends and innovations for the European market will be presented here.
