Salewa Supports the Youngest Outdoor Fans

Salewa is paying particular attention to the little ones – as the first manufacturer in the area of Outdoor/Mountaineering, Salewa now comprehensively applies the EU norm 14682 for children’s clothes in securing all strings and draw cords.

The Growing Clothes concept, that was developed in cooperation with the University of Bolzano, makes it possible to alter textiles in size. In this way clothes can be worn for a longer time, taking the pressure off parents’ finances.

The Kids’ Collection contains over 60 outdoor articles with cool embroidered and printed motifs and print for the sporty younger generation. The South American expedition of the former Salewa CEO Hermann Huber in 1955 provides the inspiration for the themes: Biosphere, Voyager and Ethnic. There is also a theme dedicated to girls.
The clothes are chic and cheeky and of course functional. With the Endurance Jacket Salewa offers a softshell jacket for children.
