The three brands are: alpine eXperience for demanding hikers/trekkers, 5Continents for quality loving travellers and La Mano leisure shoes for trend conscious rock climbers and outdoor enthusiasts. The footwear redefines the possibilities of leather shoes and gives the customer’s feet something they’ll love: quality, durability and functionality. The collections are the result of years of experience from top designers.

Most of the alpine eXperience boots use a superior quality leather liner combined with Gore-Tex® membrane. Gore-Tex® XCR® liner is used for maximum breathability and waterproofing in the 5Continents line. The combination of leather liner and Gore-Tex® membrane works extremely well in all conditions and is truly unique on the market. Bad odour is reduced to a minimum thanks to the Green-Fit foot bed. The ergonomic cut allows the closest possible fit. The varying thicknesses of leather minimise weight and maximise wearing comfort. All seams are double stitched for extreme durability.

The last is the heart and the soul of the shoe. Salewa offers specific lasts for men and women and each of them in different widths for a real made-to-measure feeling. Special attention has been paid to weight reduction and women’s specific needs. Almost 50% of the collection is dedicated to women’s products.
